Our life is extremely busy and I'm not sure if our kids have to keep up with us or us keeping up with them. I'm a proud Canadian with a sense of humor and I sware like a mother......but I keep my blogs clean. Talking about my blogs, I've been overly busy for quit a while and have missed blogged my opinion's on world events and things in general with my life, my adventures and of course the fun stuff. I ride an ATV like I stole it, love hard rock and I buy natural products that contain HEMP. While camping in the wild people seem to forget we are gently trespassing on their ground and we need to respect the land.  Not only feeding a bear will unties them into a camp ground but will also send them to their death. I awoke one morning to hear some commotion coming from behind my trailer.  My trailer is on the edge of the woods with 100's of miles of forest behind it, a great place to explore but also a great place for a bear to sit and wait for his next meal. My mother wants to be testing for Alzheimer's, at her age I wondered why she would want to know.  Isn't she to old to have to worry about a thing like this, or as her daughter do I really want to know when and if she starts to forget things...I'm in denial that my parent will get old and leave me. She has asked me to go with her to get the test done and of course I will be right there with her.  I ponder  the thought as to get the test done myself, but at 45 do I really want to dwell on the fact that  one day I wont know my own children. There are quit a few DNA test today to let you know the future of your health but for me, right now, I'm not ready to know. I'm sure you all remember the story here in Canada a few months ago about the man who was beheaded on a Gray Hound Bus. This story was so horrible that it hit the air ways all over the world. This incident changed the way people felt about getting on a chartered bus to travel across Canada, or any where for that matter.  How safe was it to sit for hours or days to travel, do you trust the person you're sitting next to, or in front off. Does the person your sitting with have mental problems, is he-she on this bus to get away from the law...... Things on the chartered bus lines seemed to calm down over the summer, people seemed to relax again as they road across the country...the bus lines did their best to insure everyones safety...every thing seemed like it was back to normal............until this passed weekend. Multipy has done some up-dates and it seems the CSS codes for theme's is not working.  So until they get this fixed, don't change your theme...an error will come up then you will be stuck with the base theme.  Right now theme makers are going crazy because they have to alter the CSS codes. Can you imagine having to do that!! For some of them that means thousands of themes they might have to change.  So lets hope that Multy puts in a CSS validator for the theme makers so we can all enjoy their hard work they do.  Plus you might notice that your blogs are out of shape after posting, again another up date..bugs. I thought it would be a great challenge for me  to do a little writing along with a posted picture.  Each weekend <A href="http://picturestowords.multiply.com/journal/item/2/FORUM_GUIDELINES">Pictures To Words</A> will post a picture. You grab the picture and post it on your blog and write something about the photo.  It can be anything, a poem, a story for just some thoughts about the picture but it has to come from within you, no copy writing.  Then on Wednesday you head back to Pictures To Words site and you post a link to your blog for others to read your interpretation of the picture. Now onto this week's Editorial.   More than 4.500 drivers in Ontario have had their licences suspended and new legislation in the Highway Traffic Act that targets speeders driving 50 km/h in excess of the posted limit. Last year in Ontario the government passed a law that if you're caught speeding, in the excess of 50km over the limit you car is impounded for up to a week, plus the charges are Race Speeding and the cost of the impound. Depending on the fine your car can even be crushed. This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day. For thous of you new here, each year  700 ATVers gather together for a weekend ride. This is the first weekend that we're able to get onto the trails, now that the snowmobiles are off it....haha. We're packed and ready to go!!! We're leaving Friday morning, setting up the trailer for the season, then doing a night time ride Friday, then we'll  have breakfast on Saturday and ride the whole day. We're meeting back at the camp ground, there are 7 couples + kids  in our group ,for a chili cook out. I'm excited about getting away, miss my friends up there and will be nice to play in the mud...yes!!! It's very muddy up there, we checked the trails out last weekend, so I'm bringing extra beer lol Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and good weekend. I LOVE TO PAINT. To me the whole world is an open canvas, give me a surface and I will paint it. Today I have two pictures of two different kinds of paintings I have done. The first I did two years ago with acrylic paint.  I have now painted a few similar to this one, only because certain family/friends have liked it so much they wanted it.  I don't usually paint the same thing twice. Insurance company did an estimate  of the damage of my truck and said it was not a right off but I did need a new FRAME...plus four new doors...new box and four new tires.  We still have this truck, but hubby drives it now and he bought me a car LOL ~Se... http://sensual639.multiply.com/journal/item/98/Picture_Perfect_Framed Thu, 3 Apr 2008 15:14:27 -0000 Picture Perfect ~illumination~ Today's Theme In Picture Perfect Is illumination The picture I have chosen today is one that  some  might not believe in, I take no offence, for what we see,feel and believe in  is apart of our experience in life.  To make a long story short, I take pictures of buildings that have had some strange happenings in.  I find the best place for these shots are old hotels or prisons. This picture is illuminating with many. It's a prison guard home, attached to it is the prison. In the guards home many inmates were tortured and buried in the basement. The caretaker of the home was killed and said to be standing at the door still tending to the home. I always take these type's of pictures with my Canon Power Shot A530. When put together it means speechless.  My picture below was taken with my trusty Canon that I always carry around on my ATV. It was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, I just love this time of year! When I thought of the word empty the first thing that came to mind was being lost. I search my picture files over and over again and finally my mind drifted off to a place I visited a few years ago.
